Wherever you go in the Arts & Entertainment District, there is art – even in the most unlikely of places! Have you seen these hidden murals?
1.”Clara:” Painted by artist Sean Yoro, Clara is a pleasant surprise to a passerby walking along Flagler Drive under the Royal Park Bridge, Yoro was one of the more than 20 artists who participated in the CANVAS Outdoor Museum Show in 2015.
2. Hidden Stairs Mural: If you take a stroll through The Square, you’ll notice the explosion of color and large geometric shapes created by husband-and-wife duo Chalk & Brush. The stairwell between Sur La Table and True Food Kitchen is the perfect spot for a photo.
3. “Natural Beauty:” If you head down to Artist Alleyway near Subculture Coffee on the 500 Block of Clematis Street, you’ll stumble across Anthony Burk’s beautiful art installation. Just look up!
4. Evernia Street Garage Mural: From Miami’s Wynwood Art District to Lake Worth, Eduardo “Eddie” Mendieta’s artwork adorns walls throughout South Florida, and Downtown West Palm Beach is no exception. In 2014, Mendieta and his collaborative artists created the vibrant murals in the Evernia Street parking garage. Park on the roof and have an enjoyable art showcase while walking down.
